Good location to go the old town on foot. House manager was very friendly.

The villa was hard to find because GPS coordinates given in booking.com led us to another (parallel) road. Finding the hpuse was made even harder because the sign on the gate and name provided in booking.com did not match. Be ready to meet (quite big) insects inside the house. No household items (sponge, washing liquid etc) and no primary food stuff (salt, pepper etc). Be aware of the notice in booking.com that there is an extra charge for electricity used.

We loved the location of the finca next to Alcudia old town. The villa was immaturely clean and has a fantastic garden which we enjoyed.

We did have an issue with mosquitoes but that is to be expected. Take insect repellent and buy some citronella candles!

What would you highlight about YupiHome Finca Sa Murada

Small but cozy villa. Good interior and territory. It's great that olive trees grow around - the air is fresh and smells nice. Beautiful evening light. There are all dishes for cooking, but you should buy all the ingredients in advance, including salt, pepper, as well as household goods, like garbage bags, liquid and dishwashing sponges, and even toilet paper. It is best to use the Mercadona store - a great choice, but not near the villa. The villa is located within walking distance from the old town of Alcudia. To the beach we drove by car.

There are several things that I would like to warn you about: there are small ants on the territory that, by the end of our week-long rest, have penetrated into the bedroom. They do not bite, but it was unpleasant when they crawled even on the bed at night. And on the last day a huge cockroach came to us. It was terrible. Arrival at the villa is a bit complicated - a narrow gate and a fence directly in front of them. I would like to have a dishwasher at the villa, it would greatly simplify the rest.

What would you highlight about YupiHome Finca Sa Murada

We loved everything about this villa. Location, you can see the walls of Alcudia town from the garden. It's a 3 minute walk away. The villa is down a dirt track but very simple to get there from the airport. Ample parking for 2 cars. The owners were there to greet us on arrival and very pleasant. They showed us everything and also came to clean the pool every 3 days & took rubbish away. The garden is superb. Very safe for little ones as is has 6ft high fencing around (the metal type easy to see through and covered with bushes & trees) and a lovable gate). Gorgeous oranges, grapes, olives, figs growing throughout. There are 8 sun loungers, a hammock, a swing seat thingy & table and chairs outside. BBQ was an awesome addition. There's also an outdoor utility room with toilet to the side which has washing machine, iron and board, beech items such as parasol. The pool is raised which is perfect as no one can fall in. Again giving peace of mind with little ones. The villa is all on one level and is wheelchair friendly. So spacious and very clean. Everything looks very well looked after too. 2 bedrooms with large built in wardrobes . Both bedrooms can fit in a travel cot easily. The large living room also has a single bed in with a roll out bed underneath. There's also a living dining area to the front of you use the living room as a bedroom. There is fab air conditioning in both bedrooms and the living room. Kitchen has everything you need with a larder fridge, microwave, oven and hob. Plenty of crockery, cutlery, toaster, coffee maker, cooking items and dishes. And a small table with 2 chairs. The electricity costs €0.22 per KW. We used loads of electric as we were in and using the facilities a lot, air con on constantly. We used 140KW which was only €31. We absolutely loved it here. We found it to be perfect with enough space so no-one felt on top of each other. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed it.

The only thing to watch out for is the mosquitos and ants. We tried everything and near the end of our holiday had 2 of those green ring things burning at once on an evening. We out one of the table and the other under the table and it worked a treat!

What would you highlight about YupiHome Finca Sa Murada

The villa was great, beautiful location, beds were good, kitchen ok, hot shower (if working), lovely garden and close to Alcudia which is a very beautiful and historic village.

It is a typical summer villa, we were ice cold all week, freezing inside the villa and there is no central heating system, it was very humid and during the night (apart from the cold) the smell of humidity was awful and in the morning all windows were full of condensation. The host Trini was very nice but she didn't speak or understand english and we don't speak spanish so we didn't understand each other. Also the electricity fell out at least once a day and while standing under the shower in the evening, all became dark and we had to walk at the end of the garden in pitch darkness to reset the system, when it is already freezing cold, very annoying. Also, don't come to this villa with a big car as you won't be able to turn from the very small road into the garden in front of the house.

Great location. Walking distance to shops and supermarket, and also the restaurants in the beautiful old town of Alcudia. Also a 5 minute drive to the sandy beach, and fun bars and restaurants of Port Pollenca.

Directions! This place is very hard to find, and there were no arrival instructions so we thought it must have been very simple to find but it is not. Clear directions would be helpful and also the name on the gate is actually Finca Sa Murada, so you still don't think you've found it.
